Studio Ghibli News 10.30.02 Spirited Away is finally set to release in Australian in selected cities on December 12, 2002. Today, Spirited Away exapand to 151 theaters nationwide. But, it seems some islands of Hawaii hasn't gotten a print of the movie, accoding to Animated Movie site news, Disney has turned down some theaters requesting the film print. 10.03.02 If you order a copy of the new Laputa Region 2 DVD, they have just been shipped! Check out FOX Entertainment's boxart of recent re-release of Studio Ghibli's My Neighbor Totoro on DVD. According to Nausicaa's mailing list, the boxart is same as the old VHS one. On October 4th, Spirited Away will expand to 97 theaters. src: Box Office Mojo According to Amazon Japan, the new Pom Poko R2 DVD will release on December 18th, 2002. 10.01.02 After 2 weeks of limited release in total of 53 theaters (26 in first week) nationwide, Spirited Away's total gross is currently at $1,110,559, last week's revenue was $527,719.
